• Steps for implementation of Environmental Management.
• ISO 14000 series standards. Key terms of Environmental Management System.
• Structure of ISO 14001:2015. Compatibility with other management standards .
  
  Practical Exercise № 1. «Evaluation of environmental situation»
• Approaches to the definition of the scope of environmental management system, understanding of stakeholders’ needs and expectations - The context of organization.
• Leadership and management commitment. The definition of environmental policy. Responsibility in the field of environmental management.
• The approach to the planning of EMS, taking into account risks and significant environmental aspects. Identification of environmental aspects, taking into account the life-cycle. Identification of risks, associated with threats and opportunities of the organization. Integration of environmental management system in organization processes.
  
  Practical Exercise № 2. «Environmental aspects assessment»

Second day ( 10.00-18.00)

• Commitment to comply with the applicable requirements.
• Environmental goals and planning of measures for their achievement.
• Resources in the system. Competence and staff awareness. Internal communications, external communications in EMS.
• Documented information in EMS. Requirements to the documented information.
• Operations Management, taking into account the life-cycle.
• Emergency preparedness and response.
• Monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation of environmental management system. Environmental control and monitoring techniques.
  
  Practical exercise № 3. «Development of environmental monitoring program»
• Internal Audit. Opportunities for integration of the procedure with internal audit procedures of other management systems. Environmental management performance assessment. Management review analysis.
• Continuous improvement of environmental management system.

Final Exam
