Building an anti-corruption management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard “ISO 37001:2016. Anti-Bribery Management System”

Training Target: Training of specialists of enterprises responsible for the development and implementation of an anti-bribery management system based on the requirements of IS ISO 37001: 2016. Study of examples of implementation of requirements in practice. as well as practical work on identification, assessment and management of corruption risks.

Training Audience: Compliance managers and those responsible for the PMS, managers coordinating internal audits, existing internal auditors who want to improve their knowledge in this area, company lawyers.

First day (10.00-18.00)

  • Introduction to ISO 37001.
  • Choosing an approach to the implementation of PMS.
  • Initiation of the implementation of the PWM. SMPV in related and controlled organizations.
  • Requirements of anti-corruption legislation of Azerbaijan, USA and UK.
  • Normative and non-binding guidance related to ISO 37001.

Section 4. Organization context.

  • Understanding the context of the organization.
  • Needs and expectations of stakeholders.
  • Determination of the scope of the PWM.
  • Assessment of risks associated with corruption.

Section 5. Leadership.

  • Leadership: Governing Body. Top management. Organizational functions, responsibilities and authorities.
  • Anti-corruption policy in accordance with ISO 37001.

Section 6. Planning.

  • Actions to address risks and opportunities. Establishing financial and non-financial controls to manage identified risks.
  • Conducting an assessment of corruption risks in the organization's activities and establishing financial and non-financial controls to manage the identified risks.

  • Creation and organization of a "hotline" (hotline) for reports of ongoing or possible violations of the requirements of the PMS, the requirements of the organization or anti-corruption legislation.
  • Measures of appropriate anti-corruption mechanisms.
  • Reporting suspicions.

Third day (10.00-18.00)

  • Investigation and action against corruption.
  • Organizing internal investigations and taking action against bribery.
  • Implementation of processes for managing conflicts of interest and examples of assessing such situations.
