Training Target: In the structure of the workshop lays a comprehensive approach to training, as well as a gradual transition from the regulatory database and basic requirements for testing laboratories in confirmation of competence to the practical implementation of GOST ISO / IEC 17025-2009 requirements.

Training Audience: The course is focused on managers and specialists of industrial testing laboratories, independent testing laboratories, all interested specialists.

TRAINING PROGRAM

Training duration: 5 days

First day (10.00 – 17.00)

• Basic international and local documents, regulating the auditing of quality management systems.
• Accreditation. Objects of accreditation. The legislation of Azerbaijan. EU legislation. Accreditation bodies. Association of accreditation bodies - EA. The International Association of Accredited Laboratories - ILAC. Regulatory documents EA, ILAC.
• Requirements for the audit in accordance with ISO 19011.
• History and comparative analysis of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
• Features of the management systems audit in test laboratories in compliance with the requirements of ISO 17025.
• Types of audit: internal audit, second party audit, third party audit. Methods.

Second day (10.00 – 17.00)

• Assurance of testing laboratories competence in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO / IEC 17025.
• Current system of accreditation and certification of testing laboratories.
• The concept of test laboratories "independence", legal status of laboratory.
• The practical implementation of GOST ISO / IEC 17025 requirements. Quality Management System. The quality control system of test results.

Third day (10.00-17.00)

• Technical audit in test laboratories in compliance with the requirements of biosafety, chemical hazards, etc. by kinds of tests.
• Requirements for audit in accordance with the requirements of ISO 10012. Examples.
• Requirements for quality management system according to ISO 17025.
• Internal audit of quality management system in testing laboratory in compliance with the requirements of ISO 17025.
• Principles of internal auditors team formation. Authorities & duties of Lead internal auditor.
• Types of non-conformities. Corrective and preventive actions. Planning of corrective actions. Examples of non-conformances & corrective actions.

Fourth day (10.00 – 17.00)

• Workshop for auditors. The practice of internal audit provision on a customer's site together with a Customer’s team of internal auditors.
• Methods of audit. Parsing errors upon the results of practical exercises.
• Analysis of possible non-conformances during the accreditation audit of a testing laboratory in compliance with ISO / IEC17025, carried out by the European Accreditation Body.

Fifth day (10.00 – 17.00))

Final Exam

"Laboratory specialist in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard" training course is carried out in a discussion with the participants with the usage of practical exercises & exchange of experience.
